Deputy Production and Site Manager (m/f/d)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Deputy Production and Site Manager (m/f/d)
Location Königswinter, Germany Working Hours Full Time Responsibilities Achieving future emission and immission limits will continue to require innovative exhaust gas and exhaust air aftertreatment systems, the core of which are catalytic converters. Despite ongoing electrification in the automotive sector, it can be assumed that more than half of all vehicles, ships and stationary engines will still be powered by combustion engines in the future, particularly in the off-road sector, albeit with a diverse mix of fuels, some of which are renewable. This makes it all the more important for the good of our environment to reduce the emissions of these technically non-electrifiable drive systems to the lowest possible level. In the growing field of chemical and industrial processes, such as the production of basic chemicals, plastics, foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals, the requirements for exhaust air purification and odor elimination are becoming increasingly stringent, also internationally. In particular, the great progress made in recent years in reducing emissions from road traffic is now bringing this area of industry into the focus of environmental legislation. Here, too, catalytic systems are preferred. As a catalyst expert for stationary and off-road applications, we believe that this diversification offers our company great potential for further growth in the future. For this reason, we are constantly expanding our production capacities to meet the increasing demand for catalyst coatings and are looking for reinforcements in the area of production management. If you feel this appeals to you and are looking for a responsible position with development potential in the area of production, you should apply to us. Tasks -
- Production planning & control: Planning and coordination of production processes to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards.
- Personnel responsibility: Management, motivation and deployment planning of production employees as well as conducting training courses and employee evaluations.
- Process optimization: Analysis and improvement of production processes to increase efficiency and optimize costs.
- Quality management: Ensuring product quality and compliance with safety and environmental standards (accident prevention).
- Resource management: monitoring machine availability, maintenance and materials planning.
- Reporting: Regular reporting to the site management.
Profile -
- Training/studies: Completed technical studies (engineering, natural sciences) or technical training with further training as a master craftsman/technician.
- Experience: Several years of professional experience in production, ideally as a Tier 1 supplier or in a chemical plant.
- Leadership skills: Several years of experience and a high level of competence in disciplinary and technical employee management.
- Specialized knowledge: Knowledge of PPS systems, ERP software, lean production methods, APQP and quality management standards (e.g. IATF 16949 or ISO 9001).
- Personality: Assertiveness, strong communication skills, organizational talent and ability to work under pressure.
We offer - Independent and responsible work in a successful and future-oriented company.
- Integration into a professional team with great potential for your professional and personal development.
- Employee-oriented environment and performance-related remuneration.

Experienced exhaust aftertreatment or catalytic converter experts for management positions within the company
JOB DESCRIPTION
Experienced exhaust aftertreatment or catalytic converter experts for management positions within the company
Location Königswinter, Germany Working Hours Full Time Responsibilities Achieving future emission and immission limits requires innovative exhaust gas aftertreatment systems, the core component of which is a catalytic converter system. Despite ongoing electrification in the automotive sector, it can be assumed that in the off-road sector, more than half of all vehicles, ships, and stationary engines will still be powered by internal combustion engines by 2050, albeit with a diverse mix of fuels. We see this diversification as a great opportunity for our company to continue growing in the future. Thanks to our extensive know-how and the products we have already developed and successfully established on the market in the field of exhaust gas aftertreatment, we, as a medium-sized company, are in a position to successfully develop and market the customized catalyst technologies required for future applications. If you share this view and are looking for a responsible position with plenty of entrepreneurial freedom in the field of exhaust aftertreatment, you should apply to us. You will work together with an interdisciplinary and highly motivated team to further grow our company by implementing innovative concepts for exhaust gas purification. Based on your previous professional experience, you are able to contribute to further development in the areas of research & development, process technology, production, or sales as a manager and provide the necessary impetus for this. Working closely with management, you can help influence the strategic direction and shape the future development of the company. Profile You are a scientist, engineer, technician, or have completed comparable training and have several years of professional experience in the field of exhaust gas aftertreatment or environmental catalysis. You enjoy taking on responsibility and are known for your independent and structured approach to work. You enjoy helping to shape a company and not just implementing the given strategy. You find entrepreneurship exciting and want to take responsibility for shaping your future development within the company. Does this appeal to you? Please feel free to contact me for a non-binding consultation so that we can explore your options at Interkat together.
